If you want to transfer your data from iCloud to your Google Account, visit privacy.apple.com to request a copy of your iCloud photos and videos.

On your Android phone, Backup by Google One allows you to seamlessly back up the photos, videos, contacts and messages most important to you, with up to 15GB of secure cloud storage included in your Google Account. You may also subscribe to Google One for even more storage and helpful features from Google products.

For video calling, you can use the Google Meet app. For sharing content with other devices around you, you can use Quick Share. And for texting, you can use Messages by Google, which helps you stay connected and share emoji reactions with your iMessages friends too.

Most free-of-charge apps will move over when you use a cable to transfer data. For purchased apps on your iPhone, we recommend contacting the app developer.

Your existing subscriptions will continue to work, but your billing will still be managed the way it is today — either via the app developer or app store.

You can join any FaceTime call using Google Chrome. When someone calls you from FaceTime, you’ll receive a link. Tap the link and it’ll open up in Chrome. Enter your name, tap 'Continue', allow FaceTime to use your microphone and camera and tap 'Join'. When the host lets you in, you’re all set.

Use a Lightning to USB-C cable to transfer your data. If you don't have a compatible cable, you can buy an OTG adapter from other retailers or your operator may have one that you can borrow.

Follow these instructions when switching to an Android 11 phone or older:

1. Download the Google One app and make sure that you have the latest version on your iPhone.

2. Sign into Google One using your Google Account - If you don’t have a Google Account, you can create one.

3. Sync your data by choosing photos, contacts and calendar events.

4. Turn off iMessage® and FaceTime® in Settings on your iPhone.

5. Sign in on your new Android phone and you’re set. All your data will be made automatically available in your Google Contacts, Calendar and Photos apps.
